Active Support

Active support, is a person-centred model of support for people with learning disabilities that is grounded in applied behaviour analysis.

Active support provides consistent structures and routines that increase opportunities for people with learning disabilities to engage in age-appropriate activities by providing them with the staff support they need to engage in these activities at a level commensurate with their abilities.
