Helminthic therapy
Helminthic therapy, also known as worm therapy, is the use of parasitic worms, such as trichuris suis, for therapeutic purposes.
Helminithic therapy is sometimes used to treat a variety of immunological conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis and asthma.
Some people have suggested that helminthic therapy could be used to treat autism.
