Social Cognition and Interaction Training-Autism Program

The Social Cognition and Interaction Training-Autism programme is a version of the Social Cognition and Interaction Training  (SCIT) programme that has been adapted for use by people on the autism spectrum.

SCIT is a group intervention that was originally designed for adults with psychotic disorders to improve social cognition, social skills, and community functioning.

The programme targets several components of social cognition, including emotion recognition, theory of mind, and attributions as well as social interaction skills
