GF diet

Glandular therapy is another term for stem cell therapy, which include various procedures in which processed tissue from animal embryos, foetuses or organs, is injected or taken orally.

Glutamate

Glutamate is an amino acid which acts as a neurotransmitter within the central nervous system.

Glutamine

Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid used as a dietary supplement.

Glutathione

Glutathione is a tripeptide consisting of the amino acids L-Cysteine, L-Glutamic Acid, and Glycine.

Gluten-Free Diet

The gluten-free diet is a diet which requires the individual to avoid or reduce sources of gluten (a protein found in cereals such as wheat, oats, rye and barley).

Gluten-Free, Casein-Free Diet

The gluten-free casein-free diet is a diet which involves avoiding all foodstuffs which contain gluten and casein.

Goat weed is another term for St. John's Wort, a plant used to treat a range of conditions including depression.

Gold Salts

Gold salts are compounds which contain tiny amounts of gold. They are sometimes found in medications used to treat inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.

Gold sodium thiomalate is a medication containing gold salts which is used to treat inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.

Group Intensive Family Training is a parent-training programme for pre-school children with autism based on the principles of applied behaviour analysis.
