A coloured overlay is a piece of coloured, transparent plastic which is placed over a piece of text in order to make it easier to read.

A comic strip is a conversation between two or more people using simple illustrations in a comic strip format.

Communication Board

A communication board is a board which shows words, photos and/or symbols.

A communication book which shows words, photos and/or symbols. Non-verbal or pre-verbal individuals can point to relevant items with their finger or their eyes to indicate what they mean.

Compliance training is another term for discrete trial training, a highly-structured training technique that involves a trainer instructing an individual with autism using a series of learning opportunities or trials.

Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling is a behavioural intervention based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Comprehensive Treatment Models

Comprehensive treatment models (CTMs) consist of a set of practices organised around a conceptual framework and designed to achieve a broad learning or developmental impact on the core features of autism.

Computer-Based Interventions

Computer-based interventions are a large and diverse group of interventions based around the use of computers.
